Terry Golway is a journalist, historian, and author of more than a dozen books. He has worked for The New York Observer, the New York Times, and Politico, among other publications. His books include Machine Made, a widely praised revisionist history of Tammany Hall, and Frank and Al, a dual biography of Franklin Roosevelt and Al Smith.
